The territory of Kyrgyzstan is mountainous area; it covers 93 % of it. The main mountainous system is called Tien Shan where can be found more than 80 mountain ranges the highest of which exceed 7,000 meters. Kyrgyzstan is popular for cultural and outdoors activities tours. The country is divided into 7 administrative units and each of them has their peculiarities in culture and landscapes. The most popular part is Issyk Kul and Naryn regions. The lake Issyk Kul invites thousands of tourists annually basically for beach tours. The northern shore boasts with nice resorts where you can spend lazy holidays and also one-day tours to nearby gorges. Issyk Kul is also rich in history; it has lots of monuments of history which you can visit during your tours such as the ancient petroglyphs, Dungan mosque, Orthodox Church, cattle bazaar in Karakol, Jeti Oguz gorge, hunter with eagles and many others.  Naryn region is famous for mountain pastures, gorges and valleys.
